- 05ElectroacupunctureAcupuncture with a mild electrical current passed between pairs of needles.
- 06Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilizationSmooth steel tools are stroked along tight muscles and tendons to work the soft tissue.
- 07Electrical stimulation (e-stim)Sticky pads on the skin deliver a mild electrical pulse to the muscles around a sore area.
- 08Red light therapyA panel of red and near-infrared light is aimed at a sore area for a few minutes.

Dr. Sheng Hua, DC
Dr. Hua is a doctor of chiropractic and is certified in acupuncture. He took over the clinic from its founder, Dr. Chih-Wei Rei, in 2023.
He speaks with patients in English and Mandarin Chinese. Spanish is also spoken at the clinic.

The same clinic since 1993
Dr. Chih-Wei Rei opened this clinic in Lisle in 1993 and ran it for 30 years. In 2023 he passed the practice to Dr. Sheng Hua.
The name, the phone number, and the mix of chiropractic and acupuncture stayed the same. Many of Dr. Rei's patients still come in.

Call us
We find a time, check your insurance, and ask what brought you in. The call takes about five minutes.

Paperwork
Arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a short health history. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID.

Exam and conversation
Dr. Hua asks about your pain and checks posture and movement. He explains what he finds.

First treatment
If it makes sense, treatment starts the same day. Plan on about an hour in total.
